Job Description
Join a leading industrial firm as a 1st or 2nd shift Overhead Crane Operator in a temp-to-hire position. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating overhead cranes to move large steel material. You'll ensure the quality and accuracy of your work while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate overhead cranes to lift, move, position, and place steel materials within the facility.
- Load and unload steel materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Conduct routine inspections of cranes and lifting equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues to maintenance personnel.
- Communicate and collaborate with other team members to coordinate the movement of materials efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved, including weights, locations, and other relevant details.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating overhead cranes.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests.
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
