Job Description

The Packaging Operator is responsible for the efficient labeling and packaging of products, ensuring all items are correctly prepared for distribution. This role involves operating and maintaining various packaging equipment, including PCs, label printers, and vacuum sealers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cardboard, paper, and plastic packaging materials.
- Pack and label semi-finished products.
- Operate a vacuum sealing machine.
- Palletize packaged products.
- Operate a pallet jack or similar non-powered mobile equipment.
- Record production rates and ensure work orders are completed according to the shift plan.
- Document any equipment, material, or quality issues encountered during the shift.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, with 3 to 4 shifts per week on an alternating schedule.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail in previous work.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with carriers and team members.
