Job Description
One of the premier Healthcare organizations is seeking an Bilingual Patient Access Representative for their Bariatric Surgery center to provide administrative support for scheduling appointments and verification of eligibility. Submit your resume and see what opportunities are available for you!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all billing, accounts receivable, and collection activities for the facility and for supervising any billing and collections personnel in the facility.
- Achieving cash collection and AR goals for the facility.
- Works with other department heads to ensure compliance with all financial regulatory and facility requirements.
- Position may oversee accounts payable and payroll functions of the facility.
- Facilitates effective communication of resident needs and issues to the team and fosters positive change, professional/program growth and teamwork.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, Hospice Collections, and Month End Closing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Two (2) years of third-party billing and reimbursement including commercial and government insurances in a skilled rehabilitation, skilled nursing and Long-Term Care environment.
- Must have EPIC and Microsoft office software experience is required.
