Job Description
As a Payroll Manager/Benefits Manager, you will oversee payroll operations, benefits rollouts, open enrollment, and FMLA processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP, multi-state payroll, and benefits management. A law firm background is a plus, though not required. This position requires strong communication and leadership skills to manage payroll staff and ensure compliance across payroll and benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll staff and ensure accurate payroll processing for employees.
- Oversee benefit rollouts, open enrollment periods, and ensure FMLA compliance.
- Prepare and analyze quarterly reports using Excel and other tools.
- Coordinate multi-state payroll processing, ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to maintain seamless payroll and benefits operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience with ADP (preferred) and proficiency in Excel.
- Multi-state payroll and benefits management experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Law firm experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to manage complex payroll and benefits processes while ensuring compliance.

The base salary range for this position is $80-$90k/year, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
