Job Description
The Payroll Manager will manage and oversee payroll operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and systems while identifying opportunities to streamline processes. Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries from HR and finance, delivering exceptional service with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Payroll Operations by managing payroll processes for US and Canada, ensuring compliance with federal and state wage laws and maintaining accuracy using PeopleSoft and Workday
- Strategic Leadership and Problem Solving with developing and implementing payroll policies, troubleshooting technical issues, and leading system upgrades in collaboration with HR and Finance.
- Team Management through recruiting, training, and providing mentorship to payroll staff with consistent guidance, performance reviews and support for professional growth
- Tax and Compliance Oversight with approving payroll liabilities, overseeing reconciliations, managing W-2 processes, and leading taxable fringe benefits with the Payroll Tax team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree with 3+ years of US and Canadian payroll experience
- 5+ years of large company payroll experience (4k+ employees)
- 3 + years of management experience
- Workday & PeopleSoft experience, a plus

The base salary range for this position is $85,000–$100,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
