Job Description
We are seeking a Plant Engineer who will work closely with the plant manager and other leaders in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on continuous plant improvement to ensure maximum production quantity, quality, and profitability while aligning with company goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who thrives in high-pressure situations and is passionate about operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the plant manager to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor and enhance production processes to achieve optimal efficiency, quality, and profitability
- Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and environmental standards in the ethanol or related industry
- Lead and mentor teams to maintain safety, productivity, and operational standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues effectively and promptly
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or process engineering
- 5–10 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of the ethanol production process and technology preferred
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills with attention to detail
- In-depth understanding of OSHA guidelines and environmental regulations

The base pay range for this position is $100,000 – $140,000, depending on experience, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
