Job Description
Join a fast-paced team as a Powder Coater responsible for applying and baking powder coatings on steel and aluminum products. This role involves operating machinery, monitoring quality control, and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in manufacturing with a focus on precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to clean, coat, and bake steel and aluminum products.
- Monitor and maintain quality control by gauging coating thickness and inspecting finished products.
- Set and monitor heating units and maintain chemical tank pH levels.
- Follow 5S Program standards to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic math and communication skills for documentation and problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift, stand, and work in a manufacturing environment.
