Job Description:
The employee is accountable for ensuring complete customer satisfaction by maintaining high quality in their own work. Their objective is to minimize variability, achieve zero defects in products and services, and enhance cycle times.
Responsibilities:
- Operates computer-controlled press brake to produce parts, ensuring correct program loading and conformity to production specifications using tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Reads and interprets production paperwork, monitors material quality, and ensures parts meet print specifications and workmanship standards.
- Completes production paperwork, including quality and timekeeping records, and ensures proper identification and traceability of parts.
- Maintains a safe, clean work area in compliance with 6S standards and follows all safety policies and equipment requirements.
- Participates in basic troubleshooting, equipment calibration, and continuous improvement initiatives, receiving on-the-job training and contributing to the achievement of company quality objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to accurately completes tags for part identification and traceability.
- Understand and apply control language, performing necessary computer functions to set up, operate, and adjust press brake (including offsets).
- Capable of basic troubleshooting and problem-solving, including alarm editing.
- Ability to perform basic setups for noncomplex bends.
- Read and interprets blueprints to identify key characteristics for monitoring.
- Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to using protective gear (e.g., face-shield, gloves).
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
