Job Description
As an Agricultural Systems Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and conveying systems to support operations in a poultry production plant. Your responsibilities include preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, ensuring all equipment functions safely and effectively to meet production goals. Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair agricultural machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and conveyor systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with drive chains, gears, belts, motors, and other components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine checks on ventilation, water, feed, egg, and manure systems.
- Perform welding, basic plumbing, and part fabrication as needed.
- Ensure a clean, safe work area and adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical training is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial or facility systems maintenance (poultry/agriculture industry experience preferred).
- Basic electrical knowledge and experience with testing devices.
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in various climates, confined spaces, and heights up to 75 feet.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
