DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the Accounting or Finance realm
- 1-3 years of experience in a project management position
- Proficient in PowerBi, SQL, Visio/Lucid Chart, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Jira
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience in implementing and managing projects
- Experience with Agile and PMBOK/Waterfall is preferred
- Experience working with Oracle Cloud Financials and EPM preferred
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects that integrate financial and accounting systems.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and scope, especially in relation to accounting and financial systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial reporting requirements, compliance needs, and system functionality.
- Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, risk management, and budget tracking.
- Oversee the integration of accounting software with other business systems, such as Oracle ERP, EPM, GGY Axis, payroll, and/or financial planning tools.
- Identify risks related to both IT and financial aspects, including system failures, data breaches, or financial reporting errors.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate the smooth adoption of new financial systems and processes.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including CFO, EVP of Finance, Controllers, actuaries, accountants, financial analysts, and IT specialists.
