This position is critical in verifying, tracking, and maintaining documentation for physicians and nurses. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in healthcare credentialing processes. Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify credentialing documentation for healthcare providers
- Maintain and update records in the credentialing database
- Communicate with providers, licensing boards, and third-party entities as needed
- Monitor and track expiration dates of credentials and certifications
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare practitioner’s credentialing experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
- Experience with Cactus software is a plus
- Above-average verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
