The Harris County Public Health Services is partnering with Team1Medical to seek a Project Staff Assistant to join their team! This position will be responsible for coordinating local MRC volunteers and activities with local emergency response teams and plans. While also supporting non-emergency MRC activities around Harris County.
What Matters Most:
- $20 per Hour
- Schedule: Full-Time Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
- Location: 1111 Fannin St. Houston, TX 77002
- Temp Work – 6 Months

What you will be doing:
- Researches and organizes a campaign for in-person or virtual meetings, tabling, class talks, etc for recruitment of medical and non-medical MRC volunteers
- Solicits opportunities for outreach to the community on citizen preparedness and the MRC
- Maintains a database of Medical Reserve Corps members and verifies volunteer credentials
What is required:
- HS Diploma
- Basic knowledge of use of computers for email communication, budget management and database retrieval, Windows, Outlook, Excel
- Push, pull lift to 30 pounds, as needed

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued pay rate growth.
