Job Description
Join a growing full-service real estate firm as a Property Accountant. This role involves managing and coordinating all project accounting functions while providing support to the construction accounting team and on-site property staff. You'll be responsible for financial reporting, reconciliation, and budget preparation, contributing to the company’s operational and financial success. Responsibilities
- Perform detailed general ledger and sub-ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly ownership reporting packages.
- Handle accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis.
- Assist with budget preparation and year-end audit schedules for external CPA firms.
- Maintain and improve accounting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Two or more years of general accounting experience required.
- Proficiency in Sage Software/Timberline preferred.
- Experience with accounts payable and general ledger functions.

The base salary range for this position is $67,000/annucally, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
