Job Description
The Punch Press Operator will be responsible for operating punch press machines to cut, shape, and form metal materials according to specific blueprints and work orders. The role includes setting up and adjusting machines, selecting appropriate dies, tooling, and materials, and conducting quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Operate punch press machines to cut, shape, or form metal materials according to specifications
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production
- Conduct quality inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and industry standards
- Set up and adjust punch press machines, including selecting the correct dies, tooling, and materials
- Familiar with Minster/Komatsu/V&O machine brands preferred
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a punch press operator or in a similar manufacturing role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of punch press machines and tooling
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Experience with Minster/Komatsu/V&O machine brands preferred

The base pay range for this position is $24-$27/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
