Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages
- Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to enter data into report
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (50+ hours/week).
- Pass background check and drug screen.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- At least 6 months experience inspecting pipe
- Experience with fittings flanges pipe preferred
- Forklift experience
- Must be able to do simple math
- Ability to interpret technical product specs
- Computer proficiency
- Capable of working in extreme weather and performing physical tasks.
