Job Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing quality engineering initiatives, supporting manufacturing and supplier activities, and ensuring compliance with medical device industry standards. Responsibilities
- Utilize statistical process control principles to improve manufacturing processes
- Oversee supplier quality, audits, and Quality Agreements
- Support process qualification plans, verification, validation, and scale-up strategies
- Review incoming inspection drawings, forms, and First Article Inspections (FAIs)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of quality experience in the medical device industry (or equivalent education and experience)
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE) and Lean Six Sigma certification are highly preferred
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and EU MDR/MDD
- Experience with medical device process qualifications and risk management
- Strong understanding of FDA QSR Part 820 compliance
