Worldwide medical manufacturing facility located in Elgin, IL is seeking a motivated and energetic Quality Inspector join their team! Come join a growing company that is leading in the medical manufacturing industry. This is a temp to hire opportunity!
What you will do:
•Completing incoming inspections of raw material based on ISO procedures
•Interpreting engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and conferring with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards

•Selecting products for testing and testing products for dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics
•recording of test data, overseeing the production process
•Recommending improvements to the production process to ensure quality control

What you need:
• Ability to read and interpret documents and the ability to write routine reports and correspondence

• Efficient communication and ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or organizations
• Lifting to up to 50lbs when needed
• Willingness to cross-train in different departments in order to advance skillsets
•Experience with CMM is a plus!
