Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will ensure the highest standards of quality for parts and materials received from vendors and suppliers. You will collaborate with engineers and project managers to create manufacturing methods and drawings, inspect parts, and prepare quotes. This role involves hands-on inspection work and technical documentation within a manufacturing and fabricating environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts against prints, including in-process and completed parts
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation from customers
- Prepare inspection reports, PPAP reports, and write corrective action reports when required
- Create manufacturing methods, drawings, tooling, and fixture designs
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers on various projects
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing/fabricating environment
- Proficiency in reading prints and familiarity with Mastercam, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
- Experience using measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, dial indicators, and height gauges
- Basic knowledge of various metals and shapes
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with vendors, customers, and employees

The base salary range for this position is $23, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
