Job Description
The Quality Team Lead will guide team members in product inspections, tests, and sampling according to quality standards. Using your experience and judgment, you will ensure tasks are performed effectively while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Additionally, you will provide support to other departments as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Quality areas, including Incoming Inspection, In-process Production Inspection, Final Quality Control Checks, and Final Distribution Inspection. Provide back-up coverage for quality positions as needed.
- Train and mentor Quality Team members, monitor their performance, and assess training effectiveness. Identify any additional training requirements.
- Investigate shipping issues or concerns and provide timely resolutions.
- Communicate effectively with the Quality Team by providing clear instructions and evaluating feedback.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding employee information, business decisions, and any discussions with management. Ensure adherence to SOPs, document non-conformances, and maintain logs of Quality Control errors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
- Ability to develop a thorough understanding of products and services to handle Quality Inspection issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt quickly.
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- 1-3 years of leadership experience, with prior experience in Quality Assurance roles preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

The base salary range for this position is $35,360, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
