Rail Operator Lead

What Matters Most:
- Temp to Perm
- $20.00/hr
- Shift: 7am- 3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Your New Role:
- Plan and coordinate all rail movements in the rail yard.
- Maintain railyard in a safe & orderly fashion.
- Process paperwork for incoming/outgoing bulk material.
- Plan and convey bulk materials for production needs.
- Communicate with all necessary departments regarding rail movements.
- Operate track mobile for all movements in the rail yard.
- Assist warehouse with loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments.
- Complete shipping process.
- Order and release cars as necessary through the Norfolk Southern portal.
What You Need:
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point)
- High school diploma required, college degree a plus
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- 1+ years of leadership experience preferred
- 2-3 years experience in railyard, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
