- Provides comprehensive evaluation of all assigned patients.
- Develops and administers rehabilitative plan of care consistent with the specific areas of deficit. Implements and maintains records (i.e. progress reports, daily notes and discharge summaries) of patient activity and services provided.
- Initiates referrals and conveys recommendations to medical, educational and allied health professionals and social agencies.
- Attends and participates in rounds and other meetings specific to patient needs.
- Education Required Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)within 30 days of hire.
License in Speech Language Pathology issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation within 30 days of date of entry into job.
