Job Description
The Homestead Exemption Analysis Department is seeking one researcher and call center representative to join their team. This individual will be responsible for researching homesteaded properties to verify the validity of granted exemptions, responding to inquiries from taxpayers, and maintaining accurate records of all research and call activities. Candidates must possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a friendly demeanor. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and meet shifting deadlines. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
The Homestead Exemption Analysis Department is seeking one researcher and call center representative to join their team. Responsibilities
• Research homesteaded properties to verify the validity of granted exemptions
• Respond to inquiries from taxpayers, providing clear and accurate information
• Maintain accurate records of all research and call activities
• Collaborate with the team and report to Manager, William Burnett
• Complete special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications and Requirements
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
• Strong research skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Strong, confident telephone voice
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency
• Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Call center experience preferred, but not required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required

The base pay range for this position is $33,280.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
