Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Interim Respiratory Manager to oversee the Respiratory Therapy Department. This leadership role involves managing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and guiding a team of respiratory therapists. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Respiratory Therapy Department.
- Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluations of respiratory therapists.
- Oversee budgeting, financial management, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance department efficiency and patient care.
- Provide life-saving respiratory therapies, including pulmonary treatments, airway management, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Serve as a key liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and administration.
- Conduct patient audits, monitor quality indicators, and ensure a safe healthcare environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program (BS/RRT preferred).
- Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum one year of experience in routine and critical respiratory care preferred.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage department operations

Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
