Title: Restoration Technician
Pay Rate: $15-$16 per hour
Location: Auburn/ Opelika and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible schedules available for all shifts
We are seeking Damage Restoration Technicians responsible for managing new and ongoing water, fire, and mold damage claims with integrity and excellence. Duties include performing initial jobsite inspections, securing jobs, and executing structural drying according to IICRC standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail.
The Technician will rapidly respond to emergency damage claims and other restoration-related activities within their designated geographical territory. The primary customer base includes residential and commercial clients. This is a fast-paced, highly competitive environment that involves travel using a company-owned vehicle within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect residential and commercial properties for water, fire, and/or mold damage.
- Assess the extent of damage to provide appropriate claim responses.
- Conduct water extraction, carpet/floor drying and cleaning, mold and mildew remediation, deodorization/decontamination, and demolition/debris removal.
- Remove damaged plumbing, framing, drywall, and other related materials.
- Travel safely to job locations using a company vehicle.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in restoration preferred.
- Background in construction, maintenance, or related fields.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Ability to perform light-to-medium physical labor and maintain a positive attitude.
- Capable of lifting 75 lbs. consecutively.
- Physical requirements include walking, standing, stooping, bending, and occasionally moving furniture.
