Job Description
As a Press Operator, you will have a big impact on producing high-quality parts and meeting company goals. You will set up, adjust, and operate a roller feed press, sectional press, or an N.C. press to produce parts in conformance with specifications. Set, align, and secure punches in turrets. Work from drawings in any combination of metric or standard dimensions and fractional or decimal dimensions. Hold exact tolerances and determine and maintain quality using calipers, micrometers, scales and measuring tape.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, adjust and operate a roller feed press to produce parts
- Ser, Align, and secure punches in turrets. May operate 2 presses simultaneously
- Work from drawings in any combination of metric or standard dimensions, fractional or decimal dimensions
- Holding exacting tolerances
- Implement a prevention-based quality system for receiving and using raw materials.
- Determine and maintain quality using calipers, micrometers, scales and measuring tape
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of press machine experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent shop math – test will be given
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening

The base salary range for this position is $18.00-$20.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
