Job Description:
As a Safety Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Versova Safety Department at Trillium Farms. This position focuses on ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company safety standards, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of safety across the farm's operations. You’ll also assist in the development of safety programs, training, and investigating incidents to drive continuous safety improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety and hazard inspections to ensure compliance with state and federal health and safety standards.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate training sessions to ensure all employees are educated on health and safety standards.
- Investigate incidents to identify root causes and develop preventive measures.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, training, and corrective actions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related safety experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certificate required.
- Ability to interpret and apply safety regulations and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $65,000.00 -$75,000.00/year, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
