- 6-month Contract position with option to extend
- Work onsite in KC, MO
- $60/hr. – $75/hr. with some flexibility based on skills and experience

DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Post-secondary education in Commerce/Business, Engineering, Technology or Computer Science
- Significant experience leading large, multi-stakeholder information systems projects
- Demonstrated expertise of project management planning tools (MS Project preferred) and MS Office products
- Experience managing software and technology development projects using primary Iterative, Agile or Waterfall Project methodologies
- Experience in understanding business / technical strategies and communicating these needs to the governing bodies, to ensure projects and services are delivered as agreed
- Experience leading statement of work (SOW) development, participating in contract negotiations, and managing Vendors and materials delivery
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Work with technical and business leaders to define project scope, schedule, budget, and benefits
- Identify and negotiate project resource requirements
- Plan and execute one or more Agile or Waterfall projects as solution scope requires
- Develop project estimate using Agile software development estimation techniques
- Stakeholder identifications and management activities
- Develop and review project requirements with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Technical Leads
- Ensure that project delivery and testing completion alignment
- Facilitate cross-departmental project delivery activities to ensure timely delivery dates
- Plan project implementations, facilitate implementation dry runs, and lead Go live activities
- Escalate material issues and risks to leadership in a timely fashion
- Ensure that Organizational Change Management and Transition to Support activities are completed
- Follow IS PMO processes regarding deliverables, stage gates, and controls
- Create and maintain project financials in SAP, PPM and Excel
- Presentations to senior management
