Job Description
Join a dynamic insurance organization headquartered in downtown Omaha, NE, as a Senior Storage Engineer. In this role, you will support and protect the company’s storage environment through technical expertise and collaborative efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical skill and support in the architecture design, implementation, optimization, and administration of the company’s storage and data backup systems.
- Ensure the company’s storage environments are performing at acceptable levels.
- Maintain and enforce backup, disaster recovery, and security protocols to safeguard the company’s data.
- Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team to ensure adequate storage is available for server and unstructured data needs.
- Participate in projects and prepare architectural and technical implementation plans.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Required:
- 3+ years of experience as a Storage Engineer
- Proficiency with Data Domains, Air Gapped storage solutions, Isilon, Nimble, and Avamar technologies
- Experience with Azure, M365, and/or AWS DR technologies
Preferred:
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar methodologies
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of enterprise-level system and hardware design

The base salary range for this position is $110,000–$120,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
