Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance, planning, and reporting, with extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the organization’s tax strategy, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws, and advising clientele on tax-related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for multiple entities
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and financial statement disclosures in compliance with GAAP and applicable tax laws
- Analyze and interpret complex tax issues, providing proactive tax planning and recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize tax liabilities
- Support the implementation of tax strategies aimed at maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing tax liabilities
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tax accounting, with a strong understanding of U.S. tax laws, including federal, state, and local regulations
- Experience with tax software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

The base salary range for this position is $85,000–$110,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
