Job Description
Local agriculture & commodity trading company is looking to hire an experienced Settlements Clerk for the team here in Omaha. This role requires prior grain settlements or grain accounting experience and is sure to give you a phenomenal boost to your career. Do not let the title fool you, this is a true Accountant role where you will post AP, AR, and balance the general ledger. The unique factor is grain, and because it is so special they will only hire someone that has experience with it. This role can be hired at the Associate or Lead level, depending on your background.
Responsibilities:
- Create invoices on all grain shipments
- Oversee logistics on all shipments
- Oversee proper documentation on all transactions and shipments
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have experience with Grain Settlements or Grain Accounting
- Must have solid general ledger knowledge & prefer exposure to AP & AR
- Must be able to work in fast-moving environment

The annual base salary for this position is $60000 – $80000 per year (i, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
