Job Description:
As the Press / Shear Brake Operator, you will play a critical role in fabrication for a storage tank manufacturing facility. Join us and be a key player in driving excellence in the heart of the manufacturing process. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that, with good attendance and a great work ethic, can lead to a long and rewarding career with numerous opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Operate metal bending machinery
- Must be able to read and understand shop drawings
- Experienced with overhead crane
- Measure and cut materials according to drawings
- Bend materials
- Change Dies
- Calculate tolerance/sizes of materials
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 – 3 years' experience as a Shear & Brake experience
- Understanding of tolerances and allowances for shearing
- Ability to read English and Metric tape measures and use measuring devices
- Must have good knowledge of shop math
- Understand how to use and read tape measures

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
