Pay rate: $20-22 / hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

An industrial product manufacturer in the Dallas area is looking for driven, talented people to join their team.
As A Member of This Team:
- Assist management by driving continuous improvement activities within the shipping department.
- Create written and oral instructions that are needed in the shipping area.
- Ensure you understand company KPIs and are taking actions to meet those KPIs.
- Management of the entire Carrier relationship. Example, freight quotes, finding reliable carriers, filing claims, scheduling trucks, etc.
- Share the cultural concepts of situational leadership and facilitate the application of the transition to situational leadership.
- Must demonstrate competencies in the following areas: Leadership, Communication Proficiency, Problem Solving/Analysis, Learning Orientation, Performance Management, Technical Capacity, Personal Effectiveness/Credibility, Diversity and Inclusion, Presentation Skills.
- Perform additional tasks as needed/requested.
- Organizational Relationships
- Shipping Lead reports to the Production Supervisor.
- Shipping Lead should be receptive to the needs of both the internal and external customers.
- Shipping Lead needs to interact with operations/manufacturing/materials to satisfy the needs of the customers.
You Will Need:
- Shipping background is required.
- Experience in shipping of industrial products is preferred.
- Must be able to develop an in-depth knowledge of GlobalShop (ERP), knowledge should be extensive enough to train others, help others solve problems and run reports.
- Must be able to develop a comprehensive knowledge of our products and processes to be able to communicate and problem solve with freight carriers and internal departments.
- Must be capable of meeting or exceeding individual performance measures.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and a good phone personality.
