Job Description:
Responsible for supervising shipment of outgoing products as well as shipping personnel; reviewing shipping processes to ensure effectiveness; and suggesting improvements to procedures that will improve timeliness or reduce cost. Additional responsibilities include assisting with picking, packing and shipping processes; ensuring backorders are coordinated with the Packaging manager; and that orders are shipped in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities:
Assign personnel to pick orders, pack orders and/or prepare orders for shipment.
- Ensure products are properly stored to protect them from damage.
- Coordinate fulfillment of backorders with the manager of Packaging.
- Interface with sales regarding order status, backorders, etc
- Ensure the department operates within ISO 9000:2008 requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
5-7 years of shipping experience, 3 to 5 years of management experience.
- Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, & Hazardous Material requirements.
- Work well under Pressure.
- Microsoft: data entry and bilingual a plus

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
