Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate (Small Parcel)
Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00
Location: Maple Heights, Ohio
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate (Small Parcel) for our customer located in Maple Heights, Ohio facility due to increased demand and expansion within their Shipping and Receiving Department. This position reports directly to the Plant Supervisor and focuses on accurately preparing merchandise for small parcel shipments while receiving incoming goods. You will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of the shipping and receiving process.
Responsibilities:
- Review and pick products for orders as assigned by the Team Leader
- Package items securely to ensure durability during transportation
- Complete all required shipping paperwork and enter data into the parcel portal system
- Note and communicate any shortages to Packaging and Production personnel
- Load and unload trucks upon arrival and in a timely manner
- Process paperwork for incoming goods and assist with LTL shipments as needed
Qualifications or Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with small parcel shipping processes and best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A licensed powered lift truck operator is desirable
- Experience working independently and in a team
