Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to optimize and enhance surface mount technology (SMT) manufacturing processes. This role focuses on improving efficiency, troubleshooting technical challenges, and ensuring production meets quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SMT assembly, process improvement, and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine SMT assembly processes to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting production performance.
- Maintain and update process documentation and work instructions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing operations.
- Ensure SMT equipment is properly maintained and compliant with quality standards.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in process engineering within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or a related Engineering field preferred.
- Strong understanding of PCB assembly techniques and industry standards (IPC-A-610 certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in Windows-based software and ability to interpret complex assembly drawings.
- Experience with Panasonic SMT equipment is a plus.
