Job Description
Join our team as a Solder Machine Operator where you will play a key role in the assembly of electronic circuit boards. You will operate and maintain electromechanical soldering equipment, monitor assembly quality, and ensure machines meet production standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude looking for a stable, long-term career in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Operate and program electromechanical soldering equipment.
- Set up and verify multiple jobs using computer-generated setup sheets.
- Monitor production and ensure assembly meets quality standards.
- Communicate technical issues and malfunctions to team leads.
- Perform light maintenance and routine cleanup on equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience with electromechanical or CNC-type equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
- Experience with electronic pick and place, wave soldering, and water wash equipment is a plus.
