Job Description
Senior Data Engineer needed for a well-respected client based in Omaha, Nebraska. The role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scripts and jobs essential for extracting, transforming, cleaning, and moving data and metadata into data warehouses, data marts, or operational data stores
- Take on the role of project technical lead for mid-sized data initiatives
- Additionally, the Senior Data Engineer will mentor junior designers
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
- 8+ years of IT experience, including at least 6 years of progressive experience in relational database management systems
- 6+ years of SQL experience (SQL programming in a DB2 and SQL Server environment)
- 4+ years of experience with Python
- 8+ years of experience using ETL tools including Informatica and DataStage
- Strong relational database knowledge, including a broad understanding of current and prospective data architecture and database performance tuning
- Proven experience in Workday programming
- Experience with Docker/Jenkins
- Preferred experience in mentoring/developing others

The base salary range for this position is $101,000 – $125,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
