Job Description
In this position, you will excel at reconciling complex accounts, analyzing reinsurance settlements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and STAT standards. Utilizing advanced tools like Excel, Power BI, and Oracle, you will enhance efficiency in financial close processes and reporting. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments will be key in identifying trends, resolving discrepancies, and supporting the company’s rapid growth. Your ability to adapt to new technology and evolving financial structures will make you a valuable asset in driving operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and insights
- Manage monthly and yearly financial close processes
- Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and compliant with regulations
- Support financial audits and internal controls
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years accounting experience within the annuity or insurance industry
- Knowledge of accounting theory and technical expertise
