WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
As the Senior Manufacturing Manager, you will oversee production and engineering teams, providing clear strategic direction, hands-on support, and evaluation. This includes recruiting, training, performance appraisals, and discipline responsibilities, all in line with company policies and industry regulations. This role requires a strong presence on the production floor to maintain direct communication with the team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead and oversee daily production operations, ensuring alignment with safety standards, quality requirements, and budgetary guidelines. Directly manage and resolve manufacturing issues to maintain quality and on-time delivery targets.
- Develop and implement strategic manufacturing plans that cover workforce, material, facility, and equipment needs. Partner cross-functionally to optimize resources and support continuous improvement, including Lean and Six Sigma practices.
- Supervise production and engineering teams through subordinate managers, guiding recruiting, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions to maintain an engaged, high-performing team. Ensure direct oversight on the production floor to foster communication and collaboration.
