Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for preparing accurate tax returns, identifying legal deductions, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. This role involves maintaining confidentiality, organizing financial records, and managing tax databases. Tax Accountants also provide tax planning advice, resolve complex tax issues, and recommend strategies for legal tax savings and profit improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare corporate and individual tax returns
- Handle quarterly and annual tax reports
- Provide tax strategies that align with business goals
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA not required but preferred
- 3+ years of tax experience
- Strong communication skills

The base salary range for this position is $85,000–$105,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
