Job Description
Success in this role hinges on a strong blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will confidently manage complex statutory reporting and regulatory filings while leveraging tools like Excel, Power BI, and Oracle to drive automation and process improvements. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams—ranging from actuarial to FP&A—will enable you to support business growth and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial and regulatory reports, making sure they’re accurate and follow reporting rule
- Handle account reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly close tasks, with a focus on annuity, investment, and reinsurance activities
- Work with other teams and auditors to support audits, reporting timelines, and system upgrades
- Spot and fix financial issues, help with capital reporting, and improve reporting processes through automation
- Support financial controls by keeping clear records, testing procedures, and offering input on accounting questions and new products
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in statutory accounting, finance, or a related role
- Strong understanding of GAAP and/or IFRS
- Experience with ERP systems like Oracle Fusion, Wings/SOVOS and familiarity with automation and reporting systems to streamline regulatory reporting

The base salary range for this position is $100,000–$120,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
