Job Description
A Tax Accountant in this role will excel by leveraging their knowledge of accounting principles and tax preparation to ensure accurate and timely filings for sales and use tax, personal property tax, and income/franchise tax. Success will require strong analytical skills to compile and review complex data, while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze information for the preparation of income tax returns including state and local income tax estimates and returns
- Prepare and review sales and use tax filings
- Provide assistance with tax audits
- Other day-to-day duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1+ years of sales/use tax experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Exceptional analytical skills

The base salary range for this position is $60,000–$70,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
