Job Description
Join a dynamic insurance organization headquartered in downtown Omaha, NE, as a Technical Architect (Application Security). This role involves leading and supporting Enterprise Architect activities to develop and manage technical solutions, enabling the organization's future-state capabilities and driving targeted business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the technology landscape
- Conduct technical research
- Provide guidance toward organizational technical excellence
- Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to solve strategic business objectives through technology
Qualifications and Requirements:

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of design and implementation experience in IT
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure and network design, APIs, middleware, clustering technologies, virtualization, and cloud technologies
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
- Understanding of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies
Preferred:
- Excellent interpersonal skills in teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies

The base salary range for this position is $155,000–$165,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
