Job Description
We are seeking a Test Technician to provide electronics technical support for our Test Operations group. In this role, you will troubleshoot, test, and verify electronic circuits and PCB assemblies while ensuring compliance with customer and company standards. You will also assist in improving test processes, training operators, and maintaining test equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical expertise in electronics testing and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level using schematics and diagrams.
- Test and troubleshoot PCB assemblies and test stations using customer-supplied data.
- Utilize electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, multimeters, etc.).
- Set up and prepare test stations by following detailed test documentation.
- Assist in meeting customer ship dates and improving test process efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent (e.g., Associate degree in Electrical Engineering).
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of advanced electronic equipment and ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and handle small components for extended periods. Good eyesight and manual dexterity are required.
- Work Environment: Manufacturing setting with frequent contact with production teams and management.
