Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that facilities and equipment operate efficiently, supporting a safe and productive work environment. Your expertise in mechanical maintenance and repair will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sewing machines and other production equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with garment construction machinery and tools.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for fabrication and building tasks as needed.
- Execute millwork projects while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and maintenance areas.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Document maintenance activities and report significant findings to management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, particularly with sewing machines and garment construction processes.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and general fabrication techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various types of equipment.
- Experience in millwork or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and drug screening.
