Workroom Manager
Pay Rate: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour (depends on experience)
Location: Greensboro, NC
Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities:
- Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
- Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching, breaks in thread, or machine malfunctions.
- Place spools of thread, cord, or other materials on spindles, insert bobbins, and thread ends through machine guides and components.
- Position items under needles, using marks on machines, clamps, templates, or cloth as guides.
- Guide garments or garment parts under machine needles and presser feet to sew parts together.
- Remove holding devices and finished items from machines.
- Other duties as assigned
List Qualification or Requirements:
- Previous drapery supervision or similar textile management experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Prior experience managing / supervising a staff of 10+ associates.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Good vision and manual dexterity. Ability to bend, sit, twist and stoop for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
