Job Description
As a Tuft-A-Feed Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include operating and tending to be manufacturing equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Abide by and enforce all company safety standards and regulations.
Complete production work orders by following written or verbal instructions.
Set up materials, operate, and tend manufacturing equipment according to guidelines.
Control and adjust machine settings based on customer specifications.
Feed raw materials to machines and inspect products for conformity to specifications.
Test machine operations periodically and report any issues to the Supervisor.
Maintain production records and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Keep machinery and work areas clean and safe.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
3 months of related experience preferred; combination of education and experience may be accepted.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks requiring extended standing and repetitive motion.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
