Job Description
Are you a building trade professional looking to grow your career while positively impacting your community? As a Weatherization and Construction Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring homes are weatherized safely, accurately, and efficiently. In this role, you will complete weatherization projects following the rules and regulations of funding sources and uphold all procedures and standards.

In this role, you will complete weatherization projects following the rules and regulations of funding sources and uphold all procedures and standards.
Responsibilities:
• Perform Weatherization measures outlined by funding sources and ensure all materials installed meet quality standards
• Maintain tools, materials, and equipment for each job, including accurate inventory tracking
• Ensure all work performed adheres to safety regulations and funding source requirements
• Complete final checks of completed work and ensure the site is cleaned up
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and seminars

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-5 years of experience in building trades preferred
• Must obtain certifications for Lead Safe RRP, OSHA-30, and BPI Crew Leader within 6 months of hire
• Valid Nebraska Driver’s License with a good driving record required
• Knowledge of Weatherization procedures, regulations, and tools required
• Familiarity with Building and Safety Codes and Regulations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients of diverse backgrounds

The base salary range for this position is $46,363 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
